Amber Elizabeth Larson. Remember where you heard that name. My only niece, and one with an exceptional talent for writing. From a young age, Amber showed a particular skill with the written word, and she embraced it. She studied throughout high school and college, even spending a year overseas, housed in a medieval castle, learning intensively. Finally she was admitted into a program in Oregon that takes literally less than a handful of students each year, where she both thrived and survived the event.
Today, she has put the finishing touches on the first complete draft of her first novel, currently titled “Still Waters”. A story set in WWII occupied Norway, about a man, and the women who influenced and shaped his life. A story of love, danger, war and uncertainty, all very real events from that time.
Based on a combination of family fact and fiction, we are all looking forward to its eventual publication.
